Stevenson contains both biographical and theoretical information. Sections include levels of consciousness, libido, defense mechanisms, psychosexual stages, repression, psychic conflicts, free association, hypnosis, and catharsis.

Making the Modern World: Sigmund Freud & Psychoanalysis

As part of their Making the Modern World project, the NMSI (The National Museum of Science and Industry in the United Kingdom) provides several modules on Freudian theory, such as "Sigmund Freud and Psychoanalysis",  "Freud's Concept of the Personality", "Freud's Theory of Psychosexual development", and "Freudian Techniques of Psychoanalysis". There are many pictures and examples that illustrate his ideas.

Created by Professor Dino Felluga at Purdue University, The Introductory Guide to Critical Theory has a whole section devoted to Psychoanalysis. Within the Psychoanalysis section, is a module on Freud's theories including his views on psychosexual development, the unconscious, repression, neuroses, and transference & trauma.

Personality Theories: Sigmund Freud
Maintained by Dr. C. George Boeree, a retired professor from Shippensburg University, this is a chapter devoted to Sigmund Freud from the electronic textbook Personality Theories. There are sections on the id, the ego, and the superego, life instincts and the death instinct, anxiety, defense mechanisms, psychosexual stages, the Oedipal crisis, character, and therapy.

Freud: On Narcissism
This site from CriticaLink at the University of Hawaii, provides a guide to the ideas in Freud's essay On Narcissism. The introduction to the guide explains that "On Narcissism will give you many insights into the development of what we now call 'Freudian' psychoanalysis". There is also a biographical section and a glossary defining many common Freudian terms & concepts.
